"For Bella, “meaningful medicine” means providing medical care that is based around a patient’s core beliefs and values."
Dr Bella (she / her) moved to the Illawarra in 2017 and worked at Wollongong Hospital for 3 years before beginning her General Practice training. This included a year as a senior resident medical officer working in paediatrics and obstetrics/gynaecology, and sparked a passion for women’s health, children’s health, and pregnancy care. She loves the diversity of general practice, and building long term relationships with a variety of patients.
For Bella, “meaningful medicine” means providing medical care that is based around a patient’s core beliefs and values.
Before completing her medical degree from the University of Sydney, Bella graduated from an arts degree with honours majoring in English Literature. In her spare time, she loves gardening, cooking, playing music, and practicing yoga and meditation.
