Jessie (she/her) grew up in Canberra and worked in medical research before studying medicine at the University of Sydney. After graduating she moved to Wollongong and loves the outdoor spaces and coastal life we get to enjoy living in the Illawarra.

Jessie has a special interest in sexual health and family planning and has done further training to complete the Family Planning Alliance Australia National Certificate in Reproductive & Sexual Health. Jessie also works as a University Lecturer and an Academic General Practitioner and has undertaken research into how we can improve women’s health and how we can better teach medical students.

When not at work Jessie loves to swim and play with her two children at the park.
